Speakers’ Bureau
The PLEIS-NB Speakers’ Bureau connects community groups with legal experts to give law-related presentations on request. These presentations can be for group members, staff, clients, or the general public. You can request a presentation in English or French. The presentation can be in person (anywhere in New Brunswick) or online via Zoom or Teams.
Any community group, service organization, special interest group, or media representative can ask us to help them find a legal speaker. Some groups have requested speakers monthly meetings, annual general meetings, special events, or workshops.
You can request a presentation about:
- Administrative Law
- Business Law
- Constitutional Law
- Consumer Law
- Civil Law
- Criminal Law
- Employment Law
- Family Law
- Health Law
- Human Rights
- Working with lawyers

We find legal speakers with help from the New Brunswick Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, who have been long-time partners on this project.
How to Request a Speaker
To request a speaker, email us at pleisnb@web.ca or call us at (506) 453-5369. Tell us:
- Your name
- Your organization
- What kind of speaker you would like
- Where and when you would like the presentation to happen

We must receive your request at least three weeks before your event or meeting. We need time to find a speaker and the speaker needs time to prepare. If possible, please make your request at least 4-6 weeks in advance.
